Ramadan Begins Tomorrow: Muslim Community of Albania Head Sends Message of Peace to Believers

Tomorrow, March 1st, marks the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan for all Muslim believers. The head of the Muslim Community of Albania, Bujar Spahiu, has extended his heartfelt wishes for a peaceful and blessed Ramadan to all believers.
In a message shared on the official KMSH website, Spahiu urged all believers to use this sacred month to strengthen their connections not only with their family members but also with society, thus making the community more united.
“Tomorrow, March 1st, marks the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, a blessed month of reflection, devotion, and spiritual purification,” Spahiu wrote.
“With a heart full of gratitude to the Creator of the universe, who has enabled us to reach this sacred month again, I extend my warmest wishes for an easy and accepted fast, both in my personal name and on behalf of the institution I lead“.
This month invites us to pause and reflect on the countless blessings God has bestowed upon us. It is a golden opportunity to express our gratitude, cultivate patience, revitalize our connection with the Holy Quran, and radiate love toward others.
Ramadan is also a month of solidarity and brotherhood. It reminds us of our responsibility toward those in need and encourages us to show generosity, compassion, and care for the less fortunate.
“During this sacred month, let us strengthen not only our bonds with family and loved ones but also with society as a whole, making our community more compassionate and united. Allah (SWT) says in the Quran: ‘O believers! Fasting has been prescribed for you as it was for those before you, that you may become mindful of Allah“.
Spahiu emphasized that fasting is not merely a physical sacrifice but a profound spiritual process aimed at building a resilient, devout character filled with high moral values.
“Dear Albanian-speaking believers, wherever you live and work, I pray that this holy month brings prosperity, peace, and harmony to our families and society as a whole“.
“We ask Almighty Allah to give us strength, devotion, and sincerity to live this month in the best possible way, benefiting from its numerous blessings. Wishing you all a blessed month of Ramadan!“
Ramadan begins on March 1st and ends on March 29th, with the morning of March 30th marking the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, symbolizing the conclusion of this sacred month for the year.
