The organizations Durrësi Aktiv and MuZEH Lab orchestrated the training session “Heritage Interpretation and Storytelling,” an immersive journey into the art of narrating the past.

Held as part of the project “Epidamn Heritage: Bridging the Past and the Future,” within the EU4Culture grant program, this initiative was supported by the European Union and implemented by UNOPS in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation.

Participants delved into the craft of storytelling, refining their techniques through hands-on exercises and retracing history along the evocative “Trail of Old Doors” in Durrës, where echoes of bygone eras seemed to whisper through the city’s ancient streets.

The event sparked thoughtful discussions on the transformative power of storytelling in shaping heritage experiences, the profound role of interpretation in safeguarding cultural identity, and the necessity of designing interactive and inclusive heritage pathways that breathe new life into historical narratives.
