College of Europe Students Embark on Educational Trip Across Albania

Students from the College of Europe took a study trip from the north to the south of Albania.

During the trip, they discovered the culture, heritage, and the impact of European Union projects on local communities. They met with young people from Albania, exchanged ideas, shared advice, and discussed the opportunities the EU offers for their future.

During their visit to Lake Shkodra, a student from Sweden, currently studying at the College of Europe in Albania, highlighted two moments from the visit.

“The first was seeing how the European Union is present far beyond the capital, funding projects across the country. The second was engaging with young people from Rrësheni and Lezha, telling them more about the college and sharing tips on how to apply in the future,” said Arzu Karimzade, one of the 20 students who visited Rrëshen, Lezhë, Razma, Shkodra, Gjirokastër, Saranda, and Ksamil.

The goal of the study trip was to involve College of Europe students in discussions about communication, challenges, and educational opportunities for young people. It also provided them with a valuable chance to explore cultural sites and learn about EU-funded projects in various regions, from churches, castles, and museums to roads, environmental initiatives, and tourism projects.
