“Zjerm” Ignites Hearts Across Europe: Beatriçe and Kolë’s Eurovision Journey Marks a New Era in Albanian Music

Beatriçe Gjergji and Kolë Laca, the rising stars from Shkodra, captured the hearts of audiences across Europe with their powerful Eurovision entry “Zjerm.” Representing Albania in the 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, the duo delivered not only a standout performance but also a heartfelt message through their music. Their journey, driven by a deep desire to connect with listeners and share their unique sound, has marked the beginning of a promising chapter in their musical careers.

From the very first moments, “Zjerm” became one of the most beloved songs among both Albanian and international audiences, far surpassing the expectations of the two young artists from Shkodra.

Day by day, the growing number of views, public support, and coverage from major media outlets propelled the song to the top of the charts, convincing everyone that this time, Albania was represented at Eurovision with one of its most dignified entries yet.

Although the final ranking placed them in 8th position, it was the audience vote that truly made the difference, giving the song a standout finish and reaffirming its popularity.

Beatriçe Gjergji and Kolë Laca expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported their song.

“We’re very happy and incredibly thankful to the public who voted for us, because we were among the top three or four based on the public vote. That means we truly have an amazing audience,” emphasized Kola.

Now that the 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest has come to an end, the duo promises that this is only the beginning.

“On May 23, our album will be released on digital platforms. It’s the continuation of ‘Zjerm’, though its title is not ‘Zjerm’ but ‘Shndrit’,” revealed Kolë, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come.

In a competition where emotional impact often outweighs rankings, “Zjerm” achieved what every artist dreams of – forming a deep and lasting connection with the public.

And for Beatriçe and Kolë, this marks just the beginning of an exciting new musical chapter.
