TIRANA, November 25 – Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Elisa Spiropali, reaffirmed Albania’s firm commitment to European integration during a high-level meeting with representatives of the Croatian state.

Through a statement on her social media channels, the minister reported a productive discussion with the Chairs and Leaders of the Parliamentary Committees on Foreign Policy and European Affairs of the Croatian Parliament.

Spiropali emphasized that Croatia remains a strategic partner. Both countries share the same perspective on regional geopolitics. They agreed that the future of the Western Balkans has only one path: full membership in the European Union.

The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation not only between governments but also between parliaments. Spiropali highlighted the important role of legislative bodies in accelerating reforms and integration processes.

Parliamentary diplomacy serves as an effective tool to increase exchanges, deepen cooperation, and support faster accession to the European Union.
