Prime Minister Edi Rama shared a message and photos on social media after the Red and Black Traditional Evening of Independence Day held tonight at the Palace of Brigades. The reception took place under the care of President Bajram Begaj. It brought together political leaders, institutional representatives, the diplomatic corps in Tirana and the President of Kosova, Vjosa Osmani.

The event formed one of the main ceremonies of the 28 November celebrations. These celebrations mark Flag Day and the 113th anniversary of Albania’s Independence. The evening created a solemn atmosphere and highlighted the sacrifices of the generations that built the Albanian state. It also brought together high-level figures from politics and diplomacy.

Rama said that the ceremony stood out among the most meaningful ones held for this national holiday. He wrote that “Red and Black Traditional Evening” was organized beautifully, like never before under the care of the President of the Republic and with the symbolic presence of the President of Kosova.
