TIRANA, December 12 – Speaker Niko Peleshi met today with the delegation of the Poland–Albania Parliamentary Friendship Group. He described Warsaw as a stable and important partner in Albania’s European Union integration process.

He said Poland has always supported Albania on its path toward the European Union. He highlighted Poland’s experience in negotiations and its readiness to deepen parliamentary and bilateral cooperation.

Peleshi noted that the Western Balkans need more development, security, and peace. He stressed that the region also needs full European integration, objectives that he said Poland fully shares.

The discussion also focused on the joint contribution of Albania and Poland to the defence of freedom and on international efforts to restore peace in Ukraine.
