The Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Tirana, Nancy VanHorn, conducted a visit to Durrës today.

According to a statement from the U.S. Embassy in Tirana, VanHorn visited Tower C of the Durrës Castle, a site restored after the 2019 earthquake through the U.S. Embassy’s collaboration with “Cultural Heritage Without Borders” under the Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation.

“During her visit, VanHorn engaged with U.S. Embassy partners, emphasizing the continued commitment to safeguarding Albania’s cultural heritage for future generations,” the Embassy stated on its social media platforms.
