Prime Minister Edi Rama inaugurated the “Villa 31 x Art Explora” artistic residence, now a cultural hub for Albanian and international artists to collaborate and organize cultural events.

Rama praised the French architects who transformed the space, maintaining its decorative heritage while reimagining it with a new and innovative purpose.

“This marks the end of a long journey of debates and ideas about this building’s future. The result is extraordinary—a transformation into a space with a completely new mission,” he said.

He noted the project’s completion in under two years, fulfilling a promise made during French President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to Albania.

“This was achieved in record time, which for French bureaucracy would have been unimaginable. The result is spectacular in every detail,” Rama added.

The Prime Minister highlighted the center’s role in fostering creativity and collaboration among emerging artists from Albania, the region, and the world.
