Ismail Kadare’s Unseen Works Featured in New Exhibition at Studio House

The Studio House Kadare opened its latest exhibition, “Kadare – Unknown Manuscripts and Correspondences,” showcasing a remarkable collection of Ismail Kadare’s literary heritage.
Cultural luminaries, along with friends and admirers of the iconic writer, attended the event to celebrate his work.
Visitors to the exhibition will have the rare opportunity to view original manuscripts of Kadare’s seminal works, alongside letters that have shaped the history of Albanian culture.
One of the standout pieces is a 1987 letter from Nobel laureate Günter Grass, addressed to Kadare, inviting him to participate in the European Artists’ Meeting in Amsterdam, on behalf of the Akademie der Künste (Academy of Arts, Berlin, established in 1696).
The exhibition provides fascinating insights into the life of this towering figure of Albanian literature and will remain open throughout January and February.
