TIRANA, December 23 – During her official visit to North Macedonia, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Elisa Spiropali met with Albanian MPs in the country’s parliament.
She highlighted the importance of dialogue and cooperation beyond political divisions. She emphasized the shared interest of Albanians as a constituent community and their path toward European integration.
Spiropali stressed that, despite different political affiliations, the message was clear: “When we speak about Albanians as a constituent community and their European path, we need more cooperation and fewer divisions.”
The minister also praised the growing presence of Albanian women in North Macedonia’s parliament. She called it a positive sign for decision-making, political dialogue, and a more inclusive society.
“I am pleased that, year after year, the presence of Albanian women in parliament is growing. It shows progress in decision-making, dialogue, and inclusiveness,” Spiropali said.
