The Center for Studies and Publications on the Arbëresh Community announced that Dr. Paola Napolitano has been appointed to lead the Department for the Preservation of Arbëresh Culture at the “Paola di Tarso” Cultural Foundation.

Dr. Napolitano will oversee the coordination and direction of this crucial department, which focuses on preserving the Arbëresh cultural heritage, strengthening relations between the Arbëresh communities and between Albania and Italy, and honoring those who sacrificed their lives for peace and the safeguarding of Arbëresh heritage.

“We believe that preserving the memory of peoples who have lived peacefully for centuries in Italy, sharing and nurturing values through the reciprocal exchange of traditions, should be a fundamental goal for all those who hold peace dear,” said Fabio Gallo, Secretary General of the “Paola di Tarso” Cultural Foundation.
