The Marubi Museum and “Gallerie d’Italia”, the museum of Intesa Sanpaolo, have launched the exhibition “Eveningside. Gregory Crewdson”, curated by Jean-Charles Vergne.

Gregory Crewdson (1962, Brooklyn, USA) is an internationally acclaimed photographer whose influence in the United States has been profound. Over a career spanning more than three decades, Crewdson’s work merges photography with the meticulousness of filmmaking. His distinctive approach involves collaborating with a lighting team to create evocative images that tell a story, drawing from cinematic techniques and visual mediums such as film and television.

The exhibition at the Marubi Museum features works from three of Crewdson’s series, created between 2012 and 2022. Initially presented in Turin, Italy, the exhibition has traveled to France and Finland before arriving in Shkodër. “Eveningside” serves as a platform for international dialogue, showcasing Crewdson’s exceptional ability to capture profound visual narratives.
