The excitement for Fest 63 is growing as the dates for this year’s end-of-year festival approach. Under the theme “Returning to the Roots of the Festival Over the Years,” this edition promises to deliver both emotions and plenty of surprises.

“This return to the roots will be evident from the very first moments of the opening night. We’ll be welcoming artists like Mihallaq Andrea, who is performing for the first time at the festival despite having a long career. Alongside him, we also have a host of exceptionally talented young performers,” said Zefina Hasani, author of Fest 63.

The prestigious stage of Albania’s most important light music festival will feature not only the contestants but also special guests. One of them is Elhaida Dani, who, in addition to performing, will serve as the artistic director of the festival.

“Elhaida will absolutely perform on stage, showcasing something entirely new that she has never presented before. We will also have some exciting comebacks from well-known artists and a few surprise guests who might surprise the audience,” Hasani revealed.

This year, performers will captivate the audience not only through their singing but also with impressive performances.

“Director Redi Treni is in constant discussions with the artists to ensure their entries go beyond just their voices. They’ll bring a full artistic concept to their performances, making them as beautiful and complete as possible,” Hasani explained.

Another highlight of this edition is the release of the competing songs on RTSH’s official YouTube channel. Within just two days, the songs have already received a significant number of views and likes from fans.

“By publishing the songs on YouTube, we give people the chance to learn them, sing along, and enjoy them even more,” Hasani added.

The Song Festival will take place from December 19-22 at the Palace of Congresses.
