With just two weeks left until the start of Albania’s most significant year-end music festival, preparations are intensifying to ensure that the magic of Fest ’63 on RTSH reaches its highest performance level.

The 30 participating artists have joined the RTSH Orchestra and festival band for rehearsals. After December 10, the entire ensemble will move to the Palace of Congresses for final preparations.

This year’s songs are already showing high quality, bringing a fresh vibe to the festival.

Blerta Ristani, Artistic Director of the RTSH Symphony Orchestra, mentioned that after hearing the songs, she found many to be exceptionally beautiful, both from new and established artists. She noted that the orchestra had interpreted the music well, and progress has been excellent so far.

A cornerstone of the year-end festival is the RTSH Symphony Orchestra, which, after the concert season, fully dedicates itself to the festival.

Ristani emphasized that the orchestra plays a crucial role in the success of the festival, as it is the most stable and reliable formation. She pointed out that organizing a festival with a live symphonic orchestra is something only RTSH can offer.

Out of the 30 artists competing in Fest ’63, 16 will be performing on the festival stage for the first time.
