TIRANA, February 4 – During her official visit to the United States, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Elisa Spiropali held a meeting in Washington with Congressman Ritchie Torres, co-chair of the Albanian Caucus and supporter of the Albanian-American community. She also met with Congressman William R. Keating, senior member of the Subcommittee on Europe in the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

During the meeting, Spiropali thanked the congressmen for the special attention the United States pays to the Western Balkans. She emphasized that continued American engagement in the region remains vital for maintaining stability and supporting democratic development.

She also highlighted that the United States’ ongoing role in the region, where Albania continues to play a constructive role in stability, remains crucial for democratic progress.
