TIRANA, February 18 – President Bajram Begaj met President Vjosa Osmani in Prishtina after events marking Kosova’s 18th independence anniversary.

Begaj said Albania and Kosova were determined to strengthen their strategic partnership and move together toward common goals. He highlighted Kosova’s political maturity, stability, and loyalty to international partners, including the U.S. and the EU.

Osmani described the meeting as festive and thanked Albania for its support.

Begaj attended the Kosova Assembly session, emphasizing that Kosova moved confidently toward the future while remembering past sacrifices.

Earlier, Prime Minister Albin Kurti received Begaj. They discussed bilateral relations, regional developments, and intergovernmental agreements, reaffirming their commitment to expand cooperation and deepen state relations. Kurti thanked Begaj and noted he was the first president welcomed in his office during the new mandate.
