TIRANA, March 4 – President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, met with Asaf Hajiyev, secretary general of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation.

The meeting highlighted the assembly’s role as a platform for parliamentary dialogue and regional cooperation. Discussions focused on economic development, political stability, and strengthening peace and security.

President Begaj reaffirmed Albania’s commitment to actively support initiatives that promote regional cooperation.

Participants stressed the importance of dialogue, tolerance, and improved regional connectivity. They emphasized the strategic value of Corridor VIII.

Begaj concluded by noting the uncertainty of the future but underlined the need to work proactively.
