TIRANA, March 12 – Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha held a phone call with Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi.

Hoxha stated on social media that he strongly condemned the Iranian attacks on Qatar, calling them clear violations of international law and of Qatar’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He reaffirmed Albania’s unwavering solidarity with Qatar and praised its leadership role and ongoing efforts to promote dialogue, mediation, and regional stability.

Hoxha added that Albania values its close friendship with Qatar and remains ready to support any initiative aimed at maintaining peace and stability in the region and beyond.

He also expressed gratitude to Qatari authorities for their care and support of Albanian citizens in Qatar during these challenging times.
