Albania Condemns Iran’s Ballistic Missile Attack on Turkey, Foreign Ministry Says

TIRANA, March 14 – Albania’s Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs condemned Iran’s latest ballistic missile attack targeting Turkey.
In a statement, the ministry said Iran continues to escalate tensions in the region. It added that Tehran has targeted not only its neighbors in the Middle East but also Turkey.
The ministry noted that NATO once again showed a rapid and effective response to defend its allies and their security.
Albania strongly condemned the Iranian regime’s missile attack against Turkey. The statement described Turkey as a strategic partner of Albania and a valued NATO ally. It added that Albania stands in full solidarity with Turkey and all allies in defending the Alliance’s territory, security, and unity.
Meanwhile, Turkish media reported another missile incident earlier yesterday. Iran launched a ballistic missile that entered Turkish airspace. NATO air and missile defense systems in the Eastern Mediterranean intercepted and neutralized the missile. The interception marked the third case of Iranian missiles over Turkey.
