“Return to Tradition: Albanian Folk Costumes” is the title of the exhibition opened in Elbasan by the General Directorate of Archives (DPA).

In collaboration with the Municipality of Elbasan, the DPA presented to the public one of its most well-received exhibitions, showcasing the entire spectrum of traditional costumes from various Albanian regions.

Among the selected materials from the DPA were images of significant historical figures dressed in traditional attire—tribal leaders, literary figures, and defenders of the homeland—as well as folk costumes from regions in the south, north, and central Albania.

After leaving a strong impression in Gjirokastër, where it was displayed during the 11th edition of the National Folklore Festival, the exhibition continued its journey through Tepelenë, Shkodër, Korçë, Krujë, Durrës, Kallarat, Tropojë, and Lin, and will soon be presented in other cities…
