TIRANA, April 24 – The song “Nan” begins its journey to Vienna for Eurovision 2026 after a send-off ceremony held at Albanian Radio and Television (RTSH).
The event took place in Tirana with participation from the Austrian Embassy and the leadership of Albanian Radio and Television. Ambassador Monika Zach attended alongside Director General Eni Vasili.

Organisers highlighted cooperation between Albanian Radio and Television and the Austrian diplomatic mission during preparations for Albania’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. The broadcaster confirmed continued institutional support for the entry throughout the competition cycle.

Artist Alis Kallaci, winner of the 64th Song Fest on RTSH, said the moment marked a personal milestone as he prepared to represent Albania on the international stage. The Austrian ambassador congratulated him during the ceremony and delivered remarks in Albanian.
