Albanian Telegraphic Agency (ATSH) revisits a 40-year-old archive photo of the “Kite Festival.” First, the image shows children holding colorful kites in nature.

Then, it highlights a moment captured in 1986 by ATSH photographer Lulëzim Lika. Meanwhile, the photo reflects a tradition that brings joy and togetherness to children.

In addition, the Kite Festival remains a symbolic ritual in many countries. Moreover, people celebrate it in spring or autumn, depending on the tradition.

Furthermore, the festival represents hope, freedom, and new beginnings as kites rise into the sky. Finally, families gather in open spaces to enjoy the colorful spectacle and shared memories of childhood.
