Another monumental tomb has been uncovered in the Archaeological Park of Amantia, Vlorë.

Anila Denaj, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and a deputy of the Socialist Party in the Vlorë District, shared photos of the newly discovered monumental tomb by archaeologists on social media today.

Denaj writes that the monumental tomb was found at the entrance of the Archaeological Park of Amantia. “It’s a vivid proof of the existence of ancient Illyrian settlements and an added value to our heritage and history, soon to be part of tourist tours and guides,” Denaj states.

“The team of archaeologists and restorers from the Regional Directorate of Cultural Heritage Vlorë, who discovered the monumental tomb, are also developing a restoration and museum project for the found monument,” Denaj emphasizes.
