In Apollonia, the 15th edition of the “Musical Encounters of Two Worlds” took place, organized by the Argjiro Association with support from the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, in collaboration with the French and Greek Embassies.

The evening commenced with a podcast on the Olympic Games, broadcast in a marathon program at the Archaeological Park of Apollonia.

Subsequently, the concert “Sounds of the Ancient Lyre” featured performances by artists Nikos Xanthoulis, Sophia Karakouta, and Evangelia Kopsalidou. Their interpretation of the ancient lyre transported the audience back to ancient Greece.

This edition aimed to educate through art, integrating music, podcasts, and the interweaving of myths and legends. It offered a new perspective on history, merging cultural heritage with artistic expression.
