“Mediterranean Cry” brings contemporary dance and music to Durrës Archaeological Museum

Durrës Archaeological Museum hosts the contemporary dance performance “Urlo Mediterraneo – Mediterranean Cry,” combining dance, theatre, spoken word, and music to explore migration, human struggles, and hope.

Under the direction and choreography of Lino Privitera, Italian artists from the Compagnia Danza Contemporanea, together with Jusuf Beshiri and the OSFA String Quartet, create an emotional dialogue between movement, sound, and storytelling.

Moreover, the performance incorporates Arbëreshë melodies, connecting Mediterranean cultures and celebrating shared historical memories.

The artists impress the audience with their professionalism and sensitivity, turning the evening into an emotional cultural experience.

Meanwhile, Chamber Fest Durrës continues its program with another musical event, presenting Vivaldi’s masterpieces performed by talented chamber music artists.
