Labe Songs and Flute Music Bring Festive Spirit to Amantia Archaeological Park

Amantia Archaeological Park became a lively stage for Albanian music and traditions during the summer activities in the Selenicë area.
The “Amantia” group performed well-known Labe folk songs. Their program included traditional pieces such as “My Labëria” and “Albanian Songs, My Songs.”
The performances highlighted the rich musical heritage of southern Albania. They also brought traditional polyphonic music to one of the country’s most important archaeological sites.
Meanwhile, renowned flute player Nazif Çela joined the celebrations with his distinctive performances. His flute music added another traditional element to the event.
The activities formed part of the fourth edition of “Vajzë Fest,” held in the Selenicë municipality.
Moreover, the event brought together music, cultural heritage and the historic landscape of Amantia. It offered visitors an opportunity to experience Albanian traditions in an important archaeological setting.
Events like this help promote Labe musical heritage. At the same time, they connect local traditions with tourism and cultural landmarks in southern Albania.
