Albania now offers 1,277 online services to citizens and businesses, according to Igli Tafa, director general of the National Agency for Information Society.

Tafa said the country had made significant progress in digital transformation. He described Albania as a regional leader in digital services and said its progress extended beyond the region.

Meanwhile, the agency aims to maintain existing services and expand its portfolio. Tafa said it would work with the responsible institutions to improve current services and introduce new ones in key sectors, including healthcare, education and energy.
