Damage to businesses affected by recent protests in Tirana has reached an estimated €3.37 million, according to the General Directorate of Taxes. The authority said affected businesses had submitted 110 applications so far.

Business owners are reporting losses through the “My Damage” service on the e-Albania platform. The service allows them to declare and document material damage to their economic activity.

Meanwhile, the tax administration has deployed 10 teams to inspect affected businesses. The teams are checking reported information and gathering additional evidence for each claim.

Tax authorities have urged affected businesses to use the digital platform to document their losses. The General Directorate of Taxes said the reporting and assessment process remains underway.
