Regional Directory of Cultural Heritage of Gjirokastra organized the cultural activity dedicated to the life and the outstanding writer “Andon Zako Cajupi”.

To love the book and be his friend is not enough for a day or a month, but every second of the hour and day should connect us more.

With this motto, the students of the united high school “Bilal Golemi”, in Ura e Kardhiqi, held an activity where they focused on the life and work of Çajupi.

The director of Regional Directory of Cultural Heritage  of Gjirokastër, Ardis Duka, attended the activity.

The students interpreted different poems and staged parts of the work “A brodegroom at 14”. During the performance, the children wore national costumes.

In his speech, the director of Regional Directory of Cultural Heritage of Gjirokastër, Ardis Duka, expressed his appreciation for the students of this school and their dedication to the book in this time of digitization of information, as well as thanked the head of the school, Etleva Kondi, and the pedagogical staff.
