Ermonela Jaho’s long-awaited recital in Bilbao

In Bilbao, Spain, a concert was held last night with strong emotions, the mastery of which the protagonist possesses like few others.
It is about the Albanian soprano, Ermonela Jaho, who sang under the accompaniment of concert master Rubén Fernández Aguirre.
The concert was performed at “Teatro Arriaga”. The managers of the Bilbao theater themselves said that this was the most anticipated event in the multitude of productions of this season.
“One of the most anticipated musical and lyrical dates of the season is about to happen: Ermonela Jaho, who has recently rocked New York, arrives at the Arriaga Theater,” the theater’s website read.
The Albanian soprano, whose fame has long been international, sang French and Italian songs and arias in Bilbao last night, which were praised by professionals for “pure intensity and true emotion”.
The recital consisted of 5 parts, during which the attendees heard pieces by Bellini, Donizetti, Verdi, Mascagni, Massenet and others. The finale was dedicated to Puccini, closing the evening with “Madam Butterfly”.
