Pogradec and Paris in the paintings of Anastas Kostandini

Until April 30, art lovers can visit in Pogradec, the exhibition of Anastas Kostandini (Taso), entitled “The city, as painting, music, architecture”.
The artist brings to this exhibition 25 works dedicated to his city Pogradec, as well as 16 works dedicated to Paris.
This exhibition has come in a very special form, as it has been intertwined with music, where the “I.L.A 74” Quartet has performed a variety of classical music.
“The subject of my painting, indisputably, is the city. I want to compare my city with the metropolises. It is a kind of extravagance, but I think that art has this luxury”, says the painter, who seems to have figuratively discovered an alley that connects small Pogradec with big Paris.
“In this exhibition, we saw Pogradec and the lake through the eyes of the painter Anastas Kostandini, through his colorful landscapes, where the great love for him was felt”, says the prefect of Korça District, Nertil Jole, present at the opening of the exhibition.
“The City of Tasos” is located in the Art Gallery, Pogradec, where entry is free for everyone.
