Albania and Montenegro Forge Historic Archival Partnership

The General Directorate of Archives of Albania and Montenegro’s State Archives signed a cooperation agreement in Cetinje, enabling the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and archival materials.
Key figures, including Ardit Bido, Danilo Mrvaljević, and Ambassador Zhaklina Peto, praised the agreement as a vital step in enhancing historical and cultural ties.
The agreement promotes joint research, free access to archival materials, and mutual specialist exchanges, with an indefinite duration ensuring long-term collaboration.
This initiative aligns with Albania’s broader efforts to strengthen international archival partnerships, following agreements with Ukraine and Bosnia and Herzegovina earlier this year.
