Lezha-based writer and creator Ndue Dragusha was honored in Italy with the special international excellence award “Divinamente Donna 2025.” The award was presented for his prose “The Love of a Woman,” where Dragusha skillfully uses rich metaphors to depict the female figure under the oppression of those who exploit her, highlighting her fragile yet resilient strength in the face of such adversity. The prestigious event took place at the Senate of the Italian Republic in Rome.

Dragusha shared that this recognition further motivates him to continue his artistic endeavors.

“I have crafted the characters in a unique way, both psychologically and artistically, through the discourses in this story. I feel immense joy from this recognition, and it was truly special,” said Dragusha.

This international event, organized for the second time by the VerbumlandiArt Association, also honored fellow Albanian author Suela Boçi, who received an excellence award for her book ‘Optics Against the Violation of Students’ Rights’.
