Albanian customs revenue reaches 186 billion ALL in nine months

Albania’s customs administration collected around 185.9 billion ALL in revenue from January to September 2026, an increase of 7.2 billion ALL compared with the same period in 2025.
The General Directorate of Customs said the results represented 104% of the revenue target. It described the first nine months of 2026 as the strongest period in the history of Albanian customs.
Revenue growth came despite the negative impact of exchange rate fluctuations, which reduced collections by an estimated 5.75 billion ALL.
The directorate said the 2026 revenue plan assumed an exchange rate of 89.01 ALL per US dollar and 98.11 ALL per euro. Current rates stand at 81.28 ALL per dollar and 95.43 ALL per euro, down 8.2% and 3.2%, respectively, compared with a year earlier.
