TIRANA, September 2 – Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha held separate meetings in Bled, Slovenia, with European Union Special Representative for the Prishtina-Belgrade Dialogue Peter Sorensen, acting Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean Fadi Hajli, and Permanent Secretariat Director of the Transport Community Talis Linkaits.

The meetings took place during the Bled Strategic Forum. Hoxha said the forum provided opportunities to exchange views on issues important for Albania and the region.

In his meeting with Sorensen, Hoxha stressed the need for sustained, results-oriented dialogue to accelerate the normalisation of relations between Kosova and Serbia. He described the process as essential for peace and stability in the region.

Meanwhile, Hoxha and Hajli discussed stronger Euro-Mediterranean cooperation and opportunities for concrete projects supporting regional development and prosperity.

With Linkaits, Hoxha focused on connectivity, infrastructure and mobility as key elements for a more integrated Western Balkans and closer links with the European market and space.
