The lyrical drama Autumn Story by renowned playwright Aleksei Arbuzov was staged last night at the National Experimental Theatre “Kujtim Spahivogli,” under the direction of Armand Bora.

The narrative unfolds in a health retreat led by Dr. Rodion, who finds himself entangled in a series of both humorous and conflict-laden situations with one of the guests, Lidia. Her free-spirited nature and resistance to the retreat’s strict regulations create ongoing challenges for the doctor.

As their debates progress, the characters reveal personal histories and gradually discover unexpected similarities. Through a series of twists and turns, their evolving relationship leads to a surprising and heartfelt conclusion.

A production of the Bylis Theatre, the play features performances by Albana Koçaj, Klajdi Marku, Anri Celibashi, and Hateme Rruzhdija.

Autumn Story will continue its run at ArTurbina on February 6 and 7.
