Taulant Balla, head of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, met today with the UK Ambassador, Nick Abbott. During the meeting, they exchanged positive assessments of the strong relations and cooperation between the two countries across multiple areas.

Their collaboration extends to international organizations, security issues as NATO members, and police cooperation.

“We are very proud of the Albanian diaspora in the United Kingdom. They contribute to economic, social, and cultural life, and now also to political life, with Albanian-British candidates running for UK political parties,” said Balla, who also serves as the Socialist Party’s political head for the diaspora.

He added, “Our diaspora in Britain remains an important bridge linking the two countries.” Balla shared moments from the meeting with Ambassador Abbott on social media.
