The cobbled streets of the castle came alive with the vibrant energy of students from Elbasan’s nine-year schools, as they marked the eve of the Day of Summer.

The children and youth brought with them fragments of the city’s rich cultural heritage, sharing them with both the citizens and visitors of Elbasan.

The students from the schools of Elbasan presented ancient crafts, intricate crochet and needlework, as well as traditional attire and culinary delights. In a way, the celebration began today, infused with the colors and aromas of Elbasan’s culture.

Traditional music and folk dances, adorned in characteristic costumes, amplified the festive atmosphere, turning the castle into the heart of the Day of Summer celebrations.
