The Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, was received in Prishtina by Kosovo’s Minister of Culture, Youth, and Sports, Hajrulla Çeku, for a formal meeting to discuss avenues for collaboration.

During the meeting, the two ministers deliberated on concrete opportunities for cooperation, joint cultural projects, artistic exchanges, and the promotion of shared cultural heritage.

Minister Gonxhja emphasized that “a key focus of the discussions was the potential synergy between our national cinematography centers, as a step toward strengthening the pan-Albanian film industry, and the twinning of our National Museum ‘Marubi’ with the Art Gallery in Prishtina, enabling the exhibition of valuable archival pieces.”

He further highlighted the importance of theater as a topic of interest, particularly for the development of regional programs and festivals.

Minister Gonxhja’s visit to Prishtina is part of the joint plenary session between Kosovo and Albania, aimed at fostering deeper intergovernmental collaboration across various sectors.
