The city of Krujë hosted the launch event for the project “Historical Memory Inspires Tourism”, an initiative implemented by the Center for the Promotion of Competitiveness and supported by the EU4Culture grant program.

The project aims to enhance the promotion of cultural heritage in Krujë, increasing visitor numbers and revenue for the National Museum “Gjergj Kastrioti Skënderbeu” and the Ethnographic Museum. This effort seeks to ensure their sustainability and preservation.

Key project activities include:

Creating authentic promotional products inspired by ethnographic artifacts

Organizing workshops for young people

Hosting Tourism Day celebrations

This initiative will directly benefit local artisans, youth, and the Krujë community, fostering skill development and creating new opportunities for local businesses and the tourism sector.
