The “Lost Childhood” exhibition was inaugurated today at the House of Europe.
Organized by the Ukrainian Memorial Platform in collaboration with the families of the victims, the exhibition presents the poignant stories of over 20 young children who tragically lost their lives due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
Marking three years since the outbreak of the war, the event stands as a moment of reflection and solidarity with the Ukrainian people.
The opening ceremony featured remarks from the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani; the Ambassador of the European Union Delegation, Silvio Gonzato; and the Ambassador of Ukraine, Volodymyr Shkurov. In their addresses, they reflected on the profound and devastating impact of war on its most innocent victims—the children of Ukraine.
The event was also attended by ambassadors, representatives of the diplomatic corps, and notable figures from the country’s cultural and public life.
Today marks three years since the beginning of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
