TIRANA, February 17 – Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Elisa Spiropali, congratulated Kosova on its 18th independence anniversary, describing the day as a moment to honor the sacrifice, resilience, and determination of a people to live free.

She noted that the anniversary recalls the long, difficult, but just path that led to the establishment of the Kosova state and the dignity of its citizens.

Spiropali emphasized that Kosova is today an irreversible reality, with consolidated institutions, developing democracy, and a clear Euro-Atlantic orientation, continuing its path forward with confidence and responsibility.

In her message, she underlined that Albania stands by Kosova as a sister and ally, fully committed to its security, development, and European future.

She concluded by sending heartfelt congratulations to the citizens of Kosova and all those who made this day possible.
