Folklore Comes to Life at TKOBAP on March 13

As part of the “Education Through Art” project, the Albanian Folk Ensemble has spent months bringing the rich values of Albanian culture and tradition to younger generations.
To mark the conclusion of this inspiring initiative, the ensemble’s artists, alongside talented young performers, will take the stage at the National Theatre of Opera, Ballet, and Folk Ensemble (TKOBAP) on March 13 for a spectacular evening dedicated to Albania’s folkloric heritage.
Bridging traditions from north to south, the performance will unite a diverse lineup of institutions, including the National Ballet School, the National Center for Children’s Culture, Qemal Stafa School, Ismail Qemali School, Gramoz Palushi School, International Dance Academy Albania, Virtuozët e Vegjël, ALBA FOLK, Jordan Misja Artistic Lyceum, and the National Ensemble’s dance troupe and choir.
Promising a night where art and tradition intertwine, the Albanian Folk Ensemble aims to celebrate the continuity of cultural heritage, passing it on from generation to generation.
