Griseld Hoxha’s Black-and-White Urban Photography Catalog Debuts at QKLL

The National Center for Books and Reading (QKLL) hosted the launch of “Photography That Touches the Fabric of the City”, a black-and-white photographic catalog by Griseld Hoxha. Featuring street and urban photography accompanied by storytelling, the project offers a unique fusion of visual and narrative art.

The event featured discussions with art professor Ardian Isufi, photographer Roland Tasho, and editor Arjola Kondakçiu, who praised the catalog’s innovative format and Hoxha’s ability to capture powerful urban moments.

Hoxha, a 2000-born photographer from Durrës and a Computer Science graduate, noted that the collection reflects five years of urban life in Albania and abroad, including key events like the Durrës earthquake and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Awarded multiple national photography prizes, Hoxha’s black-and-white imagery, paired with compelling storytelling, represents a fresh contribution to contemporary Albanian photography.
