For the first time in Albania, the film Era dhe Lisi (Wind and Oak) was screened at the General Directorate of Archives (DPA) Auditorium. Part of a series celebrating the 80th anniversary of Albania’s Liberation, this initiative aimed to introduce young people to Albania’s history through cinema.

The event was attended by key figures including DPA Director Ardit Bido, Deputy Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Silda Çepe Anagnosti, and the Ambassador of Kosovo to Albania, Skënder Durmishi. Bido emphasized the importance of making archives more accessible to the public, highlighting this initiative as part of the cultural outreach during this historical anniversary.

The film, produced by Kosovafilm and directed by Besim Sahatçiu, was praised for its exploration of historical themes related to Kosovo’s past. Participants emphasized its significance in preserving and sharing Albania’s national identity and history with future generations.
