International Cultural Weeks Return to Albania

The International Cultural Weeks return in 2026 for their fifth edition. The program starts this month across Albania. Prime Minister Edi Rama says the country will become a global stage. Artists from around the world will share music, art, and stories.
He calls it “the energy that brings us together.” The initiative comes from the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation. It promotes global cultures through public events.
Each week highlights a different country. Activities include films, music, architecture, costumes, and cuisine.
The program helps people discover new cultures. It strengthens international partnerships. It also expands cultural activities for all ages.
The event runs from May to December. It turns Albania into a multicultural and multidisciplinary cultural arena.
