“Things Take Time” is the latest exhibition that the Center for Openness and Dialogue (COD) will unveil this summer.

This exhibition features works created between 1991 and 2010, capturing the transformative period following the fall of communism.

Curated by Sylvia Sachini, the exhibition showcases photographs by internationally acclaimed photographers from MAGNUM PHOTOS. These images not only serve as historical records but also provide insight into Albania’s transitional years.

The opening will be graced by the presence of the artists themselves, including Alex Majoli from Italy, Carl De Keyzer from Belgium, Enri Canaj from Albania, Martin Parr from the United Kingdom, and Nicos Economopoulos from Greece.

This exhibition is a collaborative effort between the Center for Openness and Dialogue, MAGNUM PHOTOS, the Italian Institute of Culture, the Embassy of Greece in Albania, MISC-ATHENS, and the Albanian Center of Photography (ACOP).

The exhibition will be open to the public at COD from July 17 to August 17, 2024.
