New Agreement Preserves History of Albanian Diplomacy

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEFA) and the Institute for Crimes Committed During the War in Kosovo (ICCWK) signed an institutional agreement. The agreement will help highlight the role of Albanian diplomacy during the Kosovo war.
The cooperation aims to preserve and promote historical memory. It also encourages scientific research and documentary publications on the Kosovo war and Albanian diplomatic efforts.
This step recognizes the tireless work of Albanian diplomats during the war. They gave Albania and Kosovo a strong voice in international forums.
MEFA stated: “Through this agreement, we ensure that valuable documents reflecting the extraordinary efforts of Albanian diplomacy are available to researchers and future generations. This helps preserve truth and justice.”
MEFA added: “By committing to document and analyze this key chapter of our history, we are opening new opportunities for research and joint initiatives that bring our national history closer to the truth.”
