Written by the author Tennessee Williams, “Orpheus goes down to hell” has come to the public as an absolute premiere on the theater stage of the National Theater directed by Nastazja Domaradzka.

A stranger arrives in a small town torn apart by history and rumors. In a city where freedom is just a memory and change is but a concept. Can love exist in a place that is overrun by pain and hatred? Can art really save us from pain and hatred?
This play is a poetic, raw and hard-hitting account of love in the 1950s by the great playwright Tennessee Williams.
The play will be shown to the public tonight and on April 8 and 9 at 19:00 on the stage of ArTurbina.
